With the current severe weather hitting the above mentioned areas,can we please ask that until the situation eases we please follow the following steps every day before lock up of the branch
Electrical:
turn off the power at the main DB when leaving the branch to eliminate any potential electrical shortages
If the branch is flooded on your arrival the next morning do not turn on power inform the Black Hawk Down Facilities Team urgently to arrange for an electrician to asses before we turn on.
Please bear in mind, that we may only action once the rain stops.
Housekeeping:
Pack away items that may be damaged due to flooding (Clean desk and store valuables on higher shelves)
Remove items laying on the floor that might be damaged due to flooding
Lock Doors and pull shut as best as possible. Where you can pack towels underneath doors (Back door)
We unfortunately have to be reactive in dealing with flood damage and or roof leak damage as there is no way to predict if there will be damage and where it might come from.
